I peel back the wrapping on the first author copy of my new book and catch my breath in delight. A joy I still feel whenever I glance at the novel on the corner of my desk or tally the unsold books stacked on the floor. The same feeling I get standing in front of a Jackson Pollock painting in a museum.
I love the artwork on my book’s cover. It reminds me of how creative humans are. How colors can be so vibrant. How a font can literally flow.
